Santa Claus is a busy guy, and he’s got a lot to do between now and Christmas eve when he packs up his sleigh and flies around the world with his reindeer to deliver presents to children. Before it gets too hectic, we sit down with him and Mrs. Claus to ask everything you’ve always wanted to know about Santa but were afraid to ask.
IN: Hello, Santa and Mrs. Claus! Thank you for sitting down with Insite today!
SC: Thank you for inviting us!
IN: So how does it feel to be Santa?
SC: It is truly awesome to be able to bring joy to boys and girls of all ages!
IN: Do you get nervous flying?
SC: No, we have state-of-the-art GPS, plus my reindeer are really great navigators.
IN: What happens if a reindeer gets sick?
SC: We have our normal nine reindeer that guide the sleigh, but we have many more reindeer at the North Pole that train continuously and can fill in.
IN: How do you get all around the world in one night?
SC: It is the Magic of Christmas!
IN: How do you keep track of all the boys and girls and their wish lists?
SC: The elves and Mrs. Claus manage them on a computer.
IN: What size boots do you wear?
SC: My boots do not have a size as they are magical in order to help me go up and down chimneys.
IN: Do you have a favorite Christmas song?
SC: Of course! “It is Santa Claus is Coming to Town”!
IN: Do you have a favorite food?
SC: Of course! Cookies and milk!
IN: What do you do for the rest of the year when you’re not preparing for Christmas?
SC: After the long flight at Christmas, I take a long nap. Then, we begin to make toys for next year, but of course we leave time for the elves, reindeer, Mrs. Claus and me to have some fun playing games.
IN: Mrs. Claus, what’s it like to be married to the jolly old soul?
MC: It is fun to be married to the man who brings joy to so many children and be able to be part of that joy. But it is hard to get him to eat his vegetables when all he wants is cookies!
IN: OK, Santa, since it is evident you like cookies, what type is your favorite?
SC: Chocolate chip, of course!
IN: Do you have any advice for the children as Christmas draws near?
MC: Remember to eat your vegetables, and stay healthy!
SC:But the most important thing of all is to be good and kind to everyone so that you are on the nice list.
IN: What do you want to say in closing?
SC: I like to encourage everyone to treat everyday like we do Christmas. On Christmas, we have that special feeling inside, and we are happy and kind. Imagine what the world would be like if each and every one of us did that each and every day.
IN: Thank you, Santa and Mrs. Claus! Merry Christmas!
