The Barnhill Center management has made the difficult decision to postpone their scheduled shows through March 2021.
The Barnhill Center hosted two wonderful shows this fall, and audiences were appreciative to hear live music again! All in attendance felt secure with COVID-19 safety measures in place and no spread of illness.
However, it’s now clear that social distancing will still be required in early 2021. The Barnhill Center cannot continue operating while they cannot sell enough seats to cover costs.
The following shows are postponed:
- The Ultimate Johnny Cash Tribute by Bennie Wheels - postponed to Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021
- Bob Wills' Texas Playboys starring Jason Roberts - postponed to Friday May 28, 2021
- B.J. Thomas - postponed to early 2022
- The Texas A&M Singing Cadets - postponed to spring 2022
- Riders in the Sky - postponed to early 2022
The Barnhill Center can hopefully resume operating in April with their lineup of shows. Check out the schedule on their website.
Subscribers to their newsletter will also receive an email in February or March with updates.
The Barnhill Center appreciates community support and patience during this difficult time. Any questions can be directed to (979) 337-7240.
