The Brazos County chapter of the American Cancer Society will host the 21st annual Brazos County Cattle Baron’s Ball on Saturday, Oct. 15, at Coulter Airfield in Bryan with a new look, new entertainment, and many exciting new elements. According to the 2016 chairs, Brittany Cullison and Mark Romero, the event will feature an industrialized-western feel and theme, signature sips, a delicious dinner, casino, games, raffles, auctions, and other surprise features designed to make this year a unique and fun experience.
The Brazos County chapter of the American Cancer Society announced in July that critically acclaimed country music recording artist Mark Chestnutt will headline the entertainment for the 2016 Brazos Valley Cattle Baron’s Ball. Chestnutt, a Beaumont native, has 14 No. 1 singles, four platinum albums and five gold records to his credit throughout a career spanning more than 25 years.
Single, couple, and 10-person ticket options are available at the event’s website: www.brazoscattlebaronsball.org.
The money raised helps continue the American Cancer Society’s mission to eliminate cancer by funding groundbreaking research and supporting cancer patients by providing free information, resources, programs, and services. Over the past 38 years and counting, the American Cancer Society has funded more than $6 million in research grants to researchers working at Texas A&M University.
