The organization Aggie Women is hosting a reception September 1 honoring this school year’s Aggie women leaders: Student Body President Hannah Wimberly, Corp Commander Cecille Soria, and Senior Class President Claire Wimberly. The event will be at 6pm at Messina Hof Winery & Resort in Bryan. A presentation by the three Aggie women leaders will begin at 6:30pm and all three will be available for questions following the presentation.
“One of the highlights of our organization is honoring outstanding Aggie women,” says Aggie Women President Kristie Young. “This event will kick off the semester with a wonderful opportunity to recognize Hannah, Cecille, and Claire — three outstanding female student leaders. More than 100 guests from the Bryan/College Station area and throughout Texas celebrated Alyssa Michalke as the first female Corps Commander at last year’s First Thursday event in September, and we are expecting another great crowd this year.”
There will be door prizes, a raffle, a silent auction, photo opportunities with the three leaders, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, and a cash bar featuring Messina Hof’s Aggie Network™ wines.
