Individual tickets are now on sale for the 2nd Annual Starlight Affair on Saturday, April 22, at Schiller Ranch. The event will start at 7pm and last until midnight. The Starlight Affair is Ronald McDonald House Charities’ biggest fundraiser of the year to help maintain, sustain, and grow the vital programs and services for families with sick children from infancy up to age 21 in the Brazos Valley.
Since 1985, RMHC CTX addresses these needs every day with the help of thousands of volunteers, partnerships with medical communities around the world, relationships with respected companies, and a community of generous donors.
Helping a sick child fight their illness takes a big emotional toll on a family and adds a financial strain that is almost too much to bear. RMHC CTX can help address those problems, whether they involve providing housing, a place to rest and regroup within the hospital, a complimentary treat while families wait by their child’s bedside, or resources for families who have lost a child. Programs include Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room, Healing Hearts, and Happy Wheels Carts.
The event is a celebration of RMHC CTX’s expansion and successes in the Brazos Valley. Guests will enjoy signature cocktails and live music while enjoying specialty cuisine and beverages from various Brazos Valley restaurants. A variety of activities including a wine toss, photo booth, and an extensive silent auction as well as a spirited live auction featuring amazing experiences are planned for this memorable event.
