The 4th Annual Pride Film Festival will be held Saturday, January 16, at Stage Center Theatre. The festival will premiere a collection of feature and short films from Texas and across the world.
Tickets are $8 for a single block or $20 for an all-access pass.
This year's lineup starts at 2pm with the heart-warming short “Rosita Lopez For President” followed by “Christine At The Crossroads,” a dramatic feature at 2:20pm.
The next block consists of the short film “Unrequited” at 3:30pm and the documentary “Texas Candid Love” at 4pm.
The late afternoon block continues at 5:10pm with “My Name Is Love,” a foreign language short and the hilarious real-as-it gets short “11 Life Lessons From An Amazing Old Dyke” at 5:30pm.
The evening block gets underway at 5:45pm with the first of two award-winning documentaries: Reel In The Closet by filmmaker Stu Maddux, who will be in attendance to answer questions following the film; and, at 7:30pm filmmaker Robert L. Camina presents “Upstairs Inferno.” Robert will also be on hand to answer questions from the audience.
There will be a brief intermission between each block of films. Pride Community Center will be offering concessions and merchandise for sale during intermissions.
