The 6th annual Kyle Field Day, featuring live entertainment, local celebrities and fun for the whole family, is planned from 2 to 6pm, Saturday, April 23, at Texas A&M University’s Kyle Field.
The annual event is sponsored by the Memorial Student Center’s Freshmen In Service and Hosting (MSC FISH). This is a free, one-day service event with more than 50 different booths representing various service organizations from around the world. Each booth will have a different service project for anyone to join or make a contribution to its success. Organizers add that they expect 3,000 people to attend.
Additionally, MSC FISH has partnered with the Texas A&M student athletes to present “Film on the Field” immediately following the other activities. The Bryan/College Station community and Texas A&M students will have the opportunity to bring a pillow/blanket, grab a spot on Kyle Field, and watch the feature presentation of “Remember The Titans.”
MSC FISH is a Texas A&M freshman leadership organization dedicated to enhancing its members identity through program and leadership development centered around selfless service. For more information, visit msc.tamu.edu/kyle-field-day/.
