The Blinn College Theatre Arts Program is presenting “The Liar” with a modern twist. David Ives’ version offers a unique adaptation of Pierre Corneille’s 1644 original, which follows a young man who comes to Paris where he immediately falls in love. Due to his habit of stretching the truth, he spins a web of lies to impress the ladies and confound his adversaries. There will be performances every day starting on Thursday, November 12 and ending on Sunday, November 15. The curtain rises at 7:30pm for the Thursday-Saturday performances and at 2pm for the Sunday matinée performance. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for the general public. To purchase tickets in advance, call (979) 209-8100 or email BryanBoxOffice@blinn.edu. Be on the lookout for future shows put on by the Blinn College Theatre Arts Program.
