It’s the Boonville Gold Rush! Win an authentic 2020 United States Mint American Buffalo $50 Gold Coin (24-karat bullion) worth $2500, celebrate the 15th Annual Boonville Days, and support the only natural history museum in the Brazos Valley!
Raffle tickets are now on sale online and at the museum for only $25 per ticket or five for $100. Ticket sales end Oct. 3 at noon. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the free Boonville Days 2020 drive-through event in the museum parking lot on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 9am to noon. The winning ticket will be drawn Saturday, Oct. 3, at 5pm and the winner will be notified immediately by email or text.
Due to COVID-19, Boonville Days 2020, the museum's annual Texas Heritage Festival, will be a free drive-through event in the museum parking lot from 9am to noon, on Saturday, Oct. 3. This year, the event is dedicated to all the frontline heroes serving our community during this global pandemic.
There will be entertainment along the way, including Pat Gavin and the Buckaroo Band with their authentic chuck wagon; a full-size 19th century stagecoach replica from the Buggy Barn Museum; spinners and weavers; reenactors in period dress; Mo the live Bison; oxen Justice and Liberty; and more! Visitors may also pick up a free activity/craft packet while supplies last to take home and enjoy with their families.
Runners and walkers will also be participating in the Virtual Buffalo Stampede Half Marathon & 5K anytime, anywhere from Oct. 3 to Jan. 3. Participants will get a beautiful bison art shirt, finisher medal, two free passes to the museum, and a certificate of completion shipped right to their home when they finish!
