Century Square is implementing new parking options, including a four-story parking garage, in order to streamline the search for a parking space and provide ample solutions based on guest needs.
According to Suzanne Weatherall, senior vice president, Asset Management of Midway, “Businesses and customers benefit when customers are able to find parking readily available. Our goal is to create convenient and cost-effective parking solutions for those looking to shop, dine, and stay for a longer time period, as well as provide as many options as possible to expedite the experience for those on the go.”
The parking garage, located behind the Star Cinema Grill movie theater, is opening to the public May 11, and will further expand parking options. With entrances located off Ball St. and across from Cavalry Court hotel, the garage will feature premium parking that will be free for the first 30-minutes and $1 for every 30 minutes following that, with a daily maximum of $10 and an overnight rate of $20. Ground level, self-pay kiosks are located throughout the garage at the entry and exit points.
Along with the options presented by the garage, property-wide valet is available with a drop-off and pick-up option in front of The George hotel. The fee is $8 per car up to three hours, with a $14 daily flat rate over three hours and an overnight rate of $22. Store-front metered parking is $1 for one hour, $5 for two hours and an additional $2 per hour after that, with a daily maximum of $25. Meters are located throughout the property with easy-to-use instructions on-screen and on the back of the meters. Additionally, free and convenient 15 minute to-go parking is available throughout the property for customers making a quick stop or picking up online orders to carry out.
In the spirit of giving back to the community, The Century Square Association will be partnering with the College Station ISD Education Foundation to donate a portion of the parking proceeds to benefit their Teacher’s Grant Program.
