The City of Navasota will host the 4th annual Sounds of Summer Concert Series each Friday in June except June 15. This free event sponsored by the City of Navasota will be held in Downtown Navasota across from City Hall starting at 7:30pm. Each performance is 90 minutes.
Each Friday will showcase a different band and music genre. The first concert kicks off Friday, June 1, with a Tejano show featuring Jocelyn Gonzalez performing a Selena tribute. On Friday, June 8, a rock and soul revivalism band, The Vertigos, takes the stage. A local Texas country band, Texas 105, hits the stage on Friday, June 22. Ruben Moreno and Zydeco Re-Evolution will return from last year and close the series on Friday, June 29.
Food trucks will be on site to purchase food. Bring your lawn chairs and coolers and enjoy the sounds of summer.
