Taste Christmas Cheer at Royalty Pecans
On December 17 come out to the Royalty Pecan Farm on Hwy. 21, just east of Caldwell and learn about the famous nuts of the south, pecans. Andy Sherrod, orchard manager at the pecan farm, will discuss, demonstrate, and let you test the different pecans grown at the orchard. Santa Claus Plus A Flute Concert
Do something for the holidays the whole family will enjoy with a holiday flute choir concert and a visit from Santa Clause on Sunday, December 18. The Brazos Breeze Flute Choir will be performing at A&M United Methodist Church in College Station beginning at 6 p.m. The live entertainment is free and Santa will be in attendance to hand out treats to the children. Bethlehem in Independence brings the nativity to life with six area churches participating in the production. It's Snowing at the Children's Museum!
The Children's Museum of the Brazos Valley will be hosting a wide variety of holiday entertainment and family fun on Monday and Tuesday, December 19-20. On Monday, the museum will host "Snow Dashing" from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., which allows children to come and play in snow and enjoy a winter wonderland right there in the museum. On Tuesday, the museum will present a reading of the famous Christmas tale, "Polar Express," giving children the chance to share in the magical story and enjoy some hot chocolate as they listen.
