With a blend of country, western, rock, bluegrass, and gospel, the members of the Great American Boxcar Chorus will play at the Palace Theater in Downtown Bryan at 8pm on Friday, June 28, as part of the Summer Sunset Series. Great American Boxcar Chorus is one of four local Brazos Valley bands selected to play for the concert series after video auditions for a panel of local judges.
The band will appear on Free Music Friday on KBTX-TV at 4pm as a preview for the local audience. Band member Ben Morris is excited to play at the Palace Theater.
“The GABC is thrilled to be taking part in the Summer Sunset Series," Morris said. "We have an immense amount of pride wrapped up in in the fact that we are a band that calls the Brazos Valley home. Downtown Bryan holds a very special place in our hearts, and we are over the moon excited to have a special night on our home turf.”
Admission for the concert is free. Gates open at 7:30pm. Drink concessions will be sold during the performance.
