Navasota Blues Fest 2016

On Friday and Saturday, August 12 and 13, the 21st Annual Navasota Blues Fest will be held at Grimes County Expo Center. Doors for Friday Fest open at 6pm. Friday Fest features performances by Rob Roy Parnell, Trudy Lynn, and Hash Brown and the Browntones. Additionally, Justin Johnson will be holding a pre-fest cigar box guitar workshop at Classic Rock Coffee at 4pm.

On Saturday, Bernie Pearl will be holding a free guitar workshop at the Expo Center at 11am. At 12:30pm, doors will open for Saturday Fest, which features performances from Bernie Pearl and Mike Barry, Justin Johnson, Peterson Brothers, The Markey Blue Band, Milton Hopkins Matthew Robinson and The Jelly Kings, and the Chris Beard Band.

Tickets are $20 per person for Friday, $30 per person for Saturday, and $40 for both days. For more information and to purchase tickets, www.navasotabluesfest.org.
