The City of Bryan’s Community Development Advisory Committee will host a special public meeting/ public hearing at 6 p.m. on Feb. 1, 2022, at the Bryan Municipal Office Building, City Council Chambers, 300 S. Texas Ave.
This hearing will include a presentation on the Home Investment Partnership Program (HOME) American Rescue Plan (ARP) program grant totaling $1,384,509 that the City will receive. This presentation will describe the objective of the grant, give a summary of the planning requirements to develop programs and provide a description of eligible activities that address priority needs for specific populations and a timeline for development and implementation.
This grant is targeted to benefit local qualifying populations either experiencing homelessness or those who may be vulnerable to homeless (including victims of domestic violence, those at the greatest risk of instability, such as very low-income households, and veterans and families that include a veteran that meet one of the preceding criteria.
