Spend an afternoon filled with the Christmas spirit, Saturday, Dec. 11 from 12 to 4 p.m., strolling the tiny town of Burton, Pop. 300, located halfway between Austin and Houston.
Explore the Burton Christmas Market & More with hand-crafted local items, baked goods, and more at the Burton Roadhouse and Railroad Depot. Enjoy a sausage wrap, chips, and a drink.
Soak up the holiday spirit as kids of all ages decorate ornaments and play games. Between 1 to 3 p.m., Santa will arrive! Kids can take a special seat by Santa as their family snaps a festive photo.
There will also be a raffle and silent auction to preserve Burton history and its historic buildings. The afternoon wraps up with community caroling from 3 to 4 p.m.
The event is presented by the Burton Heritage Society and Chamber. All activities free except for some food/drink, fundraisers, and shopping.
