Are you an entrepreneur or employee looking to rise? A start-up or an established company? New-to-the-game or seasoned professional? The Brazos Valley Business Summit is for you!
The Brazos Valley Economic Development Corporation is hosting its second annual event Sept. 26 from 8am to 3pm at the Doug Pitcock ’49 Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center. This event is for the professional and business community to experience high-quality business-to-business networking, professional development, and educational tools. Dynamic presentations and discussions on a wide range of pertinent topics, including the recent Brazos Valley Economic Development Strategy, will be presented.
The theme of this year’s event is Facing Forward, as the goal of the Business Summit is to equip attendees with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the ever-changing business landscape of the Brazos Valley as the region grows.
The keynote speaker is Chris Westfall, heralded business and pitch coach and best-selling author. His insights have helped millions around the world unlock the secrets of connection, authentic persuasion, and true leadership. His most recent book is Leadership Language. Business Summit attendees will receive a copy of it at the event.
“The Business Summit is one of the most engaging events to take place in the Brazos Valley. We’ve gathered the community’s top professionals and their teams in one place to get energized about all of the great things happening in the Brazos Valley,” says Matt Prochaska, president and CEO of the BVEDC. “All of the sessions, including the morning session addressing the new Economic Development Strategy and the keynote address, are sure to educate and empower our audience as they look at the future of our community.”
The BVEDC, a public-private economic development corporation serving Brazos County, is dedicated to launching, growing, and locating businesses in the area.
Registration for the Business Summit is open through Sept. 19. Ticket, sponsor, and event schedule information are available at www.bvbusinesssummit.com. Tickets are $125 per person and include lunch.
