Bryan ISD is now accepting name suggestions for the district’s newest campus and facility.
Name suggestions will be accepted online through this form, through Sunday, Jan. 30, for both intermediate school number three and the new maintenance and transportation facility.
Those who wish to nominate a name must submit a written one or two paragraph statement (no longer than 250 words) containing biographical/historical data and reasons justifying the suggested name.
Per Bryan ISD Board of Trustees policy, the name must honor an individual who has made a significant contribution to the school district, the local community, the state, or the nation; and reflect the ideals and high standards of Bryan ISD.
For the new intermediate school specifically, since it is a campus, the name must also honor a deceased, distinguished Texan.
This submission form is also available at bryanisd.org.
The new intermediate school, maintenance facility, and transportation facility were approved by voters as part of the 2020 Bond. This bond, together with a bond approved by voters in 2019, will raise $185 million for the students of Bryan ISD without raising the tax rate.
