As February kicks off National Heart Month, the American Heart Association invites you to the Brazos County Heart Ball to celebrate and support the community’s work. This year’s “Unmasking the Cause” masquerade-themed ball will be held Saturday, Feb. 24, at Miramont Country Club. This annual black-tie event will feature music from The Argyles, dinner, dancing, an upscale silent auction, an exclusive live auction, and a raffle drawing.
The Brazos County Heart Ball has been a major contributor to the success of the American Heart Association. Last year’s event raised more than $288,000, which has helped lead to extraordinary advances in cardiovascular health and a decline in heart-related deaths for the past 50 years.
The Heart Ball campaign raises more than $71 million nationwide annually, allowing the American Heart Association to fund cardiovascular and stroke research on a scale second only to the federal government. These successes are made possible thanks in large part to the generosity and leadership of local participants. The Brazos County Heart Ball attracts hundreds of the city and state’s community leaders in medicine and business.
The 2018 Brazos County Heart Ball is presented by The College Station Medical Center.
