The dog days of summer are giving way to the crisp feeling of fall. These past few months of a different way of life will soon be in our history and a vibrant spirit of renewal and change will come. More than ever, the holidays will bring a welcomed excitement for all of the community. The Woman’s Club of Bryan College Station announces a new event for the community to enjoy—Tablescapes: Christmas on Carter Creek happening on Wednesday, Nov. 18, and Thursday, Nov. 19. Tickets are $20.
This two-day event will feature the creative talent of 24 members, friends, local florists, shop-owners, and designers. The participants will create beautifully decorated tables and floral designs that will celebrate the holiday season. These inspiring creators will be revealed on Oct. 14.
“We are excited about offering the community a very special event—sure to lift the spirits of all who enter the clubhouse,” says Diana Watson, co-chair of Tablescapes.
The Woman’s Club members will host this unique event that will entertain and inspire the community. All safety measures will be taken according to county restrictions. In addition, holiday raffle items, donated by Hermann furniture and Tricia Barksdale designs, will surprise the attendees. Raffle Tickets will be available for purchase during the event. Tickets for the event will be available at the door on the days of the event or may be purchased in advance by calling the Woman’s Club at (979) 822-5019.
