Encouraging voters across the nation
The League of Women Voters of the Brazos Valley will be holding a ‘Speed Dating with the Candidates’ Forum on February 17 at College Station Ringer Library from 2:00-4:00. This format will have the candidates rotate to multiple tables of voters to answer questions. Candidates will change tables every 10 minutes. This format will allow candidates to meet with voters in a small group and answer questions.
We will be inviting all the candidates in contested elections for local positions. This will include House Districts 12 and 14, Judges for the 272nd and 472nd District Court, District Attorney, Brazos County Commissioner Districts 1 and 3, and the Brazos County Tax Assessor.
