When Mackenzie Snyder and Kyle Sewell first met, it wasn’t exactly love at first sight. In fact, the Amazon coworkers weren’t interested in each other at all.
“We quickly realized we did like each other… so much that we actually dated in secret for six months because dating another employee at the same fulfillment center was not allowed,” says Mackenzie.
Although Mackenzie didn’t want a wedding at all and Kyle wanted a big wedding, they were able to settle on a small, family only wedding.
“We really wanted a venue that was going to be beautiful but also felt cozy and quaint enough that the vibe of the wedding would be more like a backyard barbecue, and that’s exactly what we got with 7F Lodge,” says Mackenzie.
When Oct. 5, 2019, came around, the couple ended up loving how their wedding day turned out, especially because they had the Cody Ray Henry Band there to perform.
“The day of was great,” says Mackenzie. “It was so fun to see the venue completely transformed in a way that was unique to Kyle and I. We could not have been happier with the look and style of the venue. It’s seriously everything I ever imagined and I’m so glad we were able to host our wedding at 7F Lodge. The venue is rustic yet elegant and the little chapel is the cutest ever!”
Since she did not want a wedding to begin with, Mackenzie relied heavily on her wedding planner from Alice and Apricot, Leslie Ochs.
“[Leslie] seriously did everything for me. I have no idea what I would’ve done without her,” says Mackenzie.
More than any of the details of the wedding, Mackenzie was grateful for the people who made the day special. “Honestly, the best part about the wedding — other than marrying Kyle, of course — was just getting to interact with all of our family in a casual yet beautiful setting.”
