Jim Bishop Pavilion

It’s a large free-standing parking structure that was designed for multi-purpose use and includes a curbless walkway down the center that allows a wide, flat surface for event gathering. It currently is used as the base for many events including the Bellville Market Day, Small Town Christmas, and the Classic Car Stampede, among others. The Jim Bishop Pavilion at Chesley Park is one of the Bellville Economic Development Corporation’s major projects and is named after long-time Bellville resident and past mayor Jim Bishop.
