Originally constructed as the A&M Consolidated Negro School, the Lincoln Center is located in W.A. Tarrow Park. The facility has been used at one time or another as a neighborhood center, recreation center, senior citizen's center, maintenance shop, and was formerly the headquarters for the College Station Parks and Recreation Department. The center now provides a variety of recreational and social services to the citizens of College Station.
