Dollar Signs: Texas Lady Lawyer vs. Boots King by Manning Wolfe
Down the road in Austin is a feisty attorney who won’t stand for injustice. Merit Bridges finds herself in the middle of a life-threatening case in Manning Wolfe’s novel “Dollar Signs: Texas Lady Lawyer vs. Boots King.”
The first in the series, “Dollar Signs” is a legal thriller that follows Bridges as she fights against a large corporation named Nixon that plasters billboards across Texas. After Bridges’ client, Tarantella “Tireman” Estevez, burns down the Nixon sign on his family’s business property, all hell breaks loose. Tireman and his brother Manny work with Bridges to take Nixon down, after a previously hidden clause is discovered within the contract. Nixon’s shady contractor Boots King will do anything to stop Bridges and company from winning the case, including putting her life at risk.
“Dollar Signs” tells a gripping tale as it follows the case against Nixon, Bridges’ fight for her life, and the unraveling of more injustice. Merit Bridges proves repeatedly throughout the course of the novel that it’s not a good idea to mess with a Texas Lady Lawyer.
“Dollar Signs” is the first in the Texas Lady Lawyer series. It is available in paperback or as an eBook. The second book in the series, “Music Notes: Texas Lady Lawyer vs. L.A. Baron,” is available this month.
