Every Sunday night in downtown Bryan, the Bryan College Station poetry community has a chance to share their work with the world at Mic Check Poetry. Lino Anunciacion is president of Mic Check Poetry, as well as director of the Texas Grand Slam Poetry Fest. He has published several books of poetry through Write Bloody Publishing, including The Way We Move Through Water.
Deeply personal and overflowing with emotion, The Way We Move Through Water shares poems of grief, heartache, and love. Anunciacion uses different styles of poetry to pour himself out onto each and every page. Each poem paints a clear picture of emotion, and most focus on grief among tragedy. Please note these poems do contain some mature themes that may not be suitable for all readers.
