The 5th Annual Down Syndrome Awareness Gala aims to bring light to its mission of creating a world where adults with Down syndrome have meaningful employment if they want it, have friendships between kids with Down syndrome and their typical peers last well beyond high school instead of the typical separation in elementary school, the ability for medical staff give a diagnosis of Down syndrome to a new family with hope and confidence rather than fear and uncertainty, and for new parents find hope as they walk the journey with others who have gone before.
The gala will take place on March 25 at 6pm, located at the Hilton Hotel & Conference Center in College Station.
There will be a live auction, balloon pop, raffle, and dancing. Tickets are now on sale; purchase a table of 10 for $450 or individual tickets for $50. Pre-purchase for balloons or raffle tickets for $20 is also available. Guests will be served dinner by a celebrity wait staff.
