Brazos Glassworks
Create your own glass masterpiece during the two-hour beginner’s fused glass class. This glasswork style incorporates confetti (thin wafers of glass), stringers and noodles (pasta-like glass lines), and other shapes, to create an art piece that is fused and formed into a decorative wavy art piece. $40 per person.
Discover other ways to make glass art through glass-cutting, mosaics, stained glass, alcohol ink, and resin work in private scheduled sessions with a small circle of friends. Choose from these projects: jewelry, bowls and plates, suncatchers and light catchers, or tiles. Call for session pricing.

Busha’s Custom Cookies, Classes, and More
Learn the basics and the finer points of how to decorate cookies from store owner and master baker, Catherine Buckner. Classes take place at her new brick-and-mortar store on the first floor of the DeChiro Lofts building.
- Beginning — Learn the basics of custom cookie decorating in this two-hour class. Techniques include a review of royal icing, outline and flooding, proper laying, sprinkle design. Students leave with six decorated cookies. $60 per person.
- Intermediate — Learn more advanced decorating skills, including reviewing the basics of icing inconsistencies, icing, outline and flooding, floral patterns, stenciling, textures. Students leave with six decorated cookies at the end of this two-hour class. $65.
- Private — Two-hour small group (8 people minimum) decorating classes can take place at the store or can come to you (must provide proper tables and chairs). Techniques include a review of the basics, outline and flooding, proper layering, and sprinkle design. Students leave with six decorated cookies. $65 per person and up (based on ZIP code).
All materials, including undecorated cookies, are included. Adults age 21 and up are welcome to bring their own alcoholic beverages.

Pick a class, any class. Whether you’re young or old, novice or accomplished, or somewhere in between, there’s art instruction for every level and every age. The flexible art studio offers individual and group classes as well as access to studio space and resources for a small fee.
Classes are held Monday through Saturday; times vary.
Adult classes:
- Drawing — Beginner, figure, landscape, portrait, soft pastel, and cartoon
- Painting — Acrylic, oil, watercolor, floral

Lone Star Quilt Works
Explore the art of quilting through this one-stop-shop that offers fabric, kits, books, patterns, and more. While in-person quilting classes are on hold, 12 virtual classes, taught by Norma Reel, are available for students who can watch the pre-recorded classes at their own pace, repeating sections as needed in order to complete the project.
