The start of a new month means First Friday is approaching. This Friday, head over to Downtown Bryan for special sales at select retail, live music, good food, and lots of fun. Here are a few things you can expect this Friday, August 5.
SEAD Gallery SEAD Gallery will welcome two creative and world-changing businesses for August First Friday! Haiti Ma Cherie and Noonday Jewelry will add their products to the SEAD Gallery display for the night. Stop by to see the magnificent Haitian art and handcrafted jewelry from around the world. Every art purchase provides education for a child in Haiti and each jewelry purchase goes towards establishing dignified jobs for artisans in vulnerable communities.

The Village Cafe The Village will have live music during First Friday. Local musician born and raised in Bryan/College Station Andrea Young performs from 6pm to 8pm inside The Village. She writes her own music, and her style varies from jazz, blues, folk, modern day, and classic rock/pop. Performing in the alley from 8pm to 11pm is Christopher Crow. His influences include John Mayer, The Black Keys, and Stevie Ray Vaughn.
Greg Tivis Jazz Pianist Greg Tivis will also be performing at First Friday. Start your night early and catch him at The Frame Gallery.
