Blinn College will open its 2016-17 Performing Arts Series with a musical performance by The Texas Tenors, an award-winning trio that has performed more than 1,000 concerts in more than 20 countries.
The Texas Tenors will perform at the Dr. W.W. O’Donnell Performing Arts Center at 4pm on Sunday, Oct. 2.
Since making their whirlwind debut on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” six years ago, The Texas Tenors have accumulated a long list of awards, accolades, and excited fans. With an Emmy Award-winning PBS special airing across the country, Billboard chart-topping albums, and recognition as the #10 classical artist in the world by Billboard, The Texas Tenors are America’s favorite new tenors. They have performed more than 1,000 concerts around the world, including a 24-city tour in the United Kingdom and China, and have collaborated with some of the most prestigious symphonies, performing arts centers, and arenas in the United States.
From Bruno Mars to Puccini, The Texas Tenors – Marcus Collins, John Hagen, and JC Fisher – treat audiences to a unique blend of country, classical, Broadway, and current pop music, using breathtaking vocals, humor, and a touch of cowboy charm to create an unforgettable live show.
The Texas Tenors mark just the beginning of an outstanding slate of music, comedy, and even performing pets during the 2016-17 Performing Arts Series.
