The Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History is offering free admission to active duty personnel and their families, now through Sept. 5.
The museum is taking this opportunity to say "thank you" to the men and women who proudly protect and serve the United States of America. They and their families will be able to freely enjoy the museum's natural and cultural history exhibits and live animals.
The museum's current special exhibit, Checkered Past: The Story of Board Games, has also been extended until Aug. 1.
The Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History is open to visitors Tuesday through Saturday 10am to 5pm, and from June 8 through Aug. 14, Monday through Saturday 10am to 5pm. Regular admission fees: adults: $5; seniors/students/children: $4; children 3 and under are free.
