Have you lived, worked, or journeyed to another country or do you have a cultural family recipe passed down from your grandparents or others? If so, share the name of a favorite dish and the story behind it by submitting a recipe for the Continental Cuisine Cookbook Project.
You are invited to submit an internationally flavored recipe to the Cookbook Project in celebration of the 10th Anniversary of Brazos Valley Worldfest! The organization hopes to gather recipes from more than 130 countries representing the enrolled international student population at Texas A&M University and encompassing the Brazos Valley region.
Recipes will be sorted by:
- Continent (Asia, Africa, Australia & Oceania, Antarctica, Europe, North America, South America)
- Cuisine Country (choose from a drop down of more 130 countries or select "other" to enter a different name)
- Dish Type Category (Appetizer/Soup/Salad, Side Dish, Main Course, Dessert, Holiday/Special Occasion)
- Typical Serving Time (Anytime, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Sale of the Cookbooks will benefit Brazos Valley Worldfest, a 501c3 organization.
The deadline to submit is August 15. The submission form can be found on Worldfest's website. If you have questions about the project, email BVWFcookbook@bcins.net. For information on the annual festival, visit www.brazosvalleyworldfest.org.
