For the first time in two years, the Bryan-College Station Friends of the Library will be holding a general book sale Nov. 13 and 14 at the Clara B. Mounce Library in Downtown Bryan. Thousands of books, ranging from history to mystery, will be available. Children’s books are a perennial favorite as well. Members enter at 9 a.m. and nonmembers at 10 a.m. on Saturday. The sale ends at 2 p.m. Sale hours on Sunday are 1 to 3 p.m. On Saturday a bag of books costs $20; on Sunday the first bag is $10 and each additional bag costs $5. Proceeds of the sale fund programs at the Bryan and College Station libraries. Friends' have received book donations filling 422 boxes so far and will continue to accept donations until the event.
