Camp Millican is a program of the Millican Alliance, whose mission it is to build healthy community around nature. As an outdoor program, Camp Millican aims to strengthen a child’s sense of well-being and motivation, and to increase their ability to be true to themselves, their families, and their communities.
This year, a second session will be added to Camp Millican in order to be more conducive to busy summer schedules. The first session will be June 22 - 26 and the second session will be July 6 - 10.
The theme for each day of the week will reflect one of five core values: Respect, Honesty, Commitment, Creativity, and Confidence. These values are key to developing successful community members and will be integrated throughout each day within Camp Millican’s Exploration Areas (recreation, arts & music, wildlife, and agriculture).
Each week of Camp Millican will culminate with a family BBQ on Friday (6/26 and 7/10) at 6PM, where the campers will be able to show off all they have made and learned all week.
The cost for Camp Millican is $265/camper for the week (from 8:15am to 2:30pm) and $320/camper for the extended day week (from 8:15am to 5:30pm).
