The events will kick of at 9:30 a.m. when the George Bush Library opens. Enjoy fireworks, food, music, games and more at the College Station Noon Lions Club “I Love America” Celebration July 4 at the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum at Texas A&M University. The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. and last until 10 p.m.
The Bush Library & Museum will be open with free admission for everyone all day. The event itself is free, but guests will need to buy tickets for any food they wish to eat except for watermelon.
This is the 51st year the College Station Noon Lions Club has presented the “I Love America” Celebration as a way for the Bryan/College Station community to gather and celebrate our country’s birth, and the 14th year the event has been hosted at the Bush Library and Museum.
The master of ceremonies for the event is K.O. from 104.7 The Mix morning show. Musical entertainment includes the Scott Shelby Band, The Docs, Jason Adams as Elvis, and the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra sponsored by HEB. Listen live on KAMU-FM or streaming online at kamu.tamu.edu.
The Brazos Valley Symphony will perform at 8:50 p.m. Free parking is available in the West Campus Garage, the Reed Arena parking lots, and lots 97, 74 and 61. Disabled parking is available in the north side of Lot 41 (George Bush Presidential Library and Museum).
Overflow in Lot 111 (Bush School of Government and Public Service) must display the proper disabled hangtag to be granted access to these lots. For more information about shuttles and parking go to transport.tamu.edu.

Brazos Valley Symphony Will Play A Free Concert Before The Fireworks Show
The Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra has always accompanied the fireworks show at the July 4 celebration. This year, the symphony will play a free concert an hour before the fireworks show begins. A few musical selections include Born on the Fourth of July, Battle Hymn of the Republic and Stars and Stripes Forever. Make sure not to miss out on this free event. H-E-B presents the Tenth Annual Fireworks on the Brazos
Start early and stay late at Washington-on-the-Brazos State Historical site on July 4. The “Birthplace of Texas” has a full day of fun activities planned to celebrate our nation’s independence, capped off by a tremendous fireworks display at dark. Cool off with some free Blue Bell Ice Cream and Coca-Cola. The Brenham Children’s Chorus and the Brenham Sacred Chorus will perform “Happy Birthday, America!” at 7:30 p.m. Admission to the park is free.
