The City of College Station continues its holiday tradition with Christmas at the Creek, a fun-filled weekend on December 5 and 6 and an outdoor synthetic ice skating rink continuing through December 11 at Wolf Pen Creek Park, located at 1015 Colgate Drive.
Activities include: a live nativity, synthetic ice skating rink, 20-foot Purple Monster slide, hayrides, dance performances, inflatable’s, petting zoo, live entertainment, movies, costume contests, photos with Santa at the Arts Council of Brazos Valley and much more. On Saturday, December 6, find the perfect gift at the Holiday Vendor Village, where you’ll find a variety of arts, crafts, jewelry, candles and more.
Admission is free and ice skating is $7/person per 30-minute skate slot. Personal skates are not permitted. Guests may bring their own refreshments, but coolers must be 48 quarts or smaller. Alcohol, glass containers and pets are not allowed. Food vendors will also be available.
Parking is conveniently located at Post Oak Mall, and handicap parking will be available at the Colgate entrance off of Eastmark. Hayride drop-off and pickup locations will be at Post Oak Mall and the Arts Council of Brazos Valley.
The holiday celebration doesn’t stop there! Guests can continue the family tradition of viewing Christmas light displays at the beautiful 47-acre Stephen C. Beachy Central Park from November 28 through January 1.
