Located on South College Avenue, The Farm Patch emits a fresh combination of crisp produce and plants with complementing vibrant colors. Along with his father, owner Mark Scarmardo opened The Farm Patch in the 1970s to bring a market of fresh, long-lasting produce to the Brazos Valley area.
Each October, The Farm Patch opens their doors to a free pumpkin patch complete with an abundant assortment of pumpkins that vary in size and color. As a gift to the people of Bryan/College Station, they annually assemble a pumpkin patch for the community behind the store. The Farm Patch pumpkin patch is complete with animals, a hay maze, photo ops, and of course, tons and tons of pumpkins!
“Our staff put the pumpkin patch out there as a community item for people to enjoy the fall,” says Scarmardo “It’s a part of Bryan/College Station and we don’t charge.”
Once you’ve finished your produce shopping and have a bit of time on your hands, leisure through the warm-colored pumpkin patch and get your fill of the fall season.
