The Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History proudly presents: Diamonds are Forever: a Tribute to David & Julia Gardner at the Miramont Country Club on Thursday, Jan. 11. The evening will begin with cocktails at 6pm followed by dinner at 7pm. It is a wonderful opportunity to thank David & Julia for all of the outstanding support they have given our arts community over the years. It will be an evening filled with great food, humorous and entertaining stories, music, and fun.
Individual tickets are $200 and are almost sold out. Guests may also call the Museum and request to be placed on a waiting list. Cancellations occur, and seats will become available through Jan. 10.

Tickets are also on sale for a stunning David Gardner designed double halo diamond pendant and gold chain valued at $5450.
The drawing will take place at the tribute on Jan. 11. Attendance is not required to win. Tickets are 15 for $500; 3 for $100; or $50 each.

Julia and David Gardner opened David Gardner’s Jewelers in the fall of 1983, motivated by the desire to be “the community’s jewelry store.” Over the years, they have embraced the opportunity to be a part of their customers’ lives, both personally and through community giving. In his early twenties, he discovered his passion for design while working for a jeweler in Salado. His talent for creating beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces has garnered him an enthusiastic following of clients and customers. Julia, his wife of more than 44 years, has helped shape David's design philosophy of beauty, value, and wearability. David’s designs have reached distinguished community guests and speakers including former First Lady Barbara Bush, former Good Morning America co-host Joan Lunden, and current Good Morning America anchor Amy Robach. Voted one of the "Top 10 Coolest Stores in America" according to InStore Magazine, David & Julia continue to bring world-class attention to the Brazos Valley through their community jewelry store, David Gardner’s Jewelers.
The Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History is open to visitors Tuesday-Saturday 10am-5pm. Regular admission fees: adults $5; seniors/students/children $4; children 3 and under are free.
