Bernhardt Winery will host its open-air Houston Hill Country Artisan Markets on Saturday, Oct. 24 and 31 and Nov. 7 from noon to 6pm. Visitors can feel the ambiance of Texas wine country, a pleasant country drive northwest of Houston.
The grounds will be open for wine flights and bottle sales of their award-winning wines. Guests can relax while taking in the views of the rolling hillside from the winery lawn under the shade of century-old native Pecan trees; browse handcrafted goods from local artisan vendors on the spacious lawns; kick back with live music, fresh local eats, and handcrafted wine; and take a stroll in the pumpkin patch for fun family fall photo ops.
In addition to artisan vendors, Bernhardt Winery will continue its 15-year tradition of supporting local musicians and singer-songwriters. On Saturday, Oct. 24, the musical entertainment will feature Houston-based cover artist and singer-songwriter, AJ Santana. Brenda Guy “The One Woman Show” will perform on Saturday, Oct. 31, and local musician Kevin Lamar will perform Nov. 7.
Picnics are welcome. Bernhardt wine, gourmet cheese, and a charcuterie board are available to purchase from the winery. Guests can also choose from a variety of menu selections from Mary Jane’s Kitchen food truck. No outside alcohol is allowed to be brought onto the property per TABC law. Visitors may bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets and find a socially distanced space on the lawn.
Houston Hill Country Artisan Markets is free for Bernhardt Winery customers. Table seating is limited and is available first come, first serve only.
