Magic, merriment, and majesty await the cities on the King’s Royal Ren-Quest this September. The Texas Renaissance Festival, the nation’s largest Renaissance-themed event and most acclaimed Renaissance themed event, announces the King has begun his journey out of the Kingdom to a region near you. Bryan College Station will get their own celebration at Messina Hof Winery on Sept. 20.
At this event, he will host the Italian Court, a performance group and festival mainstay. The King will be going on this journey to provide the locals with details of what is to come at the festival this year. The winery will be having a happy hour, games, raffles, and ticket giveaways.
“We are delighted to have our King make appearances all over Texas during the King’s Royal Ren-Quest, providing all festival patrons with the much-anticipated announcements of what to expect at the faire this year,” says Terre Albert, Texas Renaissance Festival general manager. “The King will not only provide viable information about what’s to come at the festival, but will also make it a priority to show his appreciation to all the neighboring communities.”
Renaissance Festival attracts more than half a million visitors each year to its 55-acre recreation of a 16th century European village. This experience features world-renowned live entertainment, works by master artists and craftspeople, award-winning food and drink, hand-powered rides and games, and more than 100 interactive characters during its nine themed weekends.
