March First Friday in Downtown Bryan will be held March 6.
Sponsored by Allen Honda and Mix 104.7, a free jazz concert from the Aggieland Orchestra will be held at the Palace beginning at 7:30pm followed by local band Varisco at 9pm. Opening for the Aggieland Orchestra will be the SFA Orchestra ensembles beginning at 6pm and performances by BHS Shy-Annes at 6:45pm. Or head over to Sale Park for a free showing of Finding Nemo at 7pm. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to watch this family favorite movie.
OPAS will be returning to First Friday to present Broadway’s Next H!T Musical at Downtown 202. Get ready for a spontaneous evening of music, humor, and laughter. This hilarious improvised musical is one you won’t want to miss. Advance ticket purchase is highly recommended with tickets as low as $25. Visit mscopas.org for more information and tickets.
Want to capture the fun of First Friday? Stop by Jim.n.i or Wandering Flamingo as they both will have photo booths. Stop by the Riddle Gallery at 207 Bryan Street for their grand opening. Stroll through Downtown listening to hear any of the ten live musicians on the sidewalks, including the Rudder High School band students performing the solos and ensembles at the String and Horn shop.
Looking for a place to park? Check out the public parking garage on 27th street off Texas Ave. It’s only a block away from all the First Friday activities. It’s free for the first hour and only $1 for every hour after that.
