MSC OPAS will host “Unsinkable Women: Stories & Songs from the Titanic” April 17-18 at Rudder Theatre on the Texas A&M Univeristy campus.
While touring the nation in the Broadway musical Titanic, award-winning actress Deborah Jean Templin became fascinated by the women on that ill-fated trip. In this one-woman tour-de-force, the skillful actress uses actual diaries, letters and interviews to weave together the stories of eight women including newlywed Madeline Astor, stewardess Violet Jessop, music hall performer Nora and, of course, The Unsinkable Molly Brown.
On this, the100th anniversary of Titanic, Templin deftly brings each character to life relaying a powerful personal story about each character.
