Festival Hill New Year’s Eve Gala
Bring in 2012 with a bang by making reservations to enjoy the New Year’s Eve Gala at the Menke House on December 31 at Festival Hill in Round Top. Reservations begin at 7:30 p.m. with appetizers and drinks followed by a buffet dinner. Popular local band, The Black Cat Choir, will perform and provide entertainment into the final moments of 2011. At midnight, Auld Lang Syne, sparklers and champagne will ring in 2012 with a loud celebration. Coffee and desserts will close out the cheerful evening. The Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History will presents Tall Tales: A Tribute to Doug Pederson, January 12, at the Miramont Country Club. The evening will begin with cocktails at 6 pm followed by dinner at 7 pm. The evening is both a way to thank Pederson for all of his contributions to the community over the years as well as an evening of good food, humorous and entertaining stories, music and fundraising for the museum.
