SEAD Gallery is featuring the artist residency of Amsterdam-based artist Marie-Renée Hoeks in Historic Downtown Bryan from January 15 through February 11. During her time in Bryan, Marie-Renée will present community art dialogues, engage with the community in creating a new body of work, host open studios, and more. Marie-Renée's exhibit, “Characters," will be featured in the main SEAD Gallery while her new works, created during her residency, will be displayed in the Downtown Reading Room. Marie-Renée will be accepting commissions as well.
Marie-Renée graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts at Utrecht in 1982, and she has since developed a deep passion for painting.
