Calling all barbecue lovers. The Stella is excited to announce the ultimate barbecue weekend experience, from April 20 to 22, in partnership with 44 Farms, the largest producer of Black Angus in Texas, and Black’s BBQ, an award-winning barbecue restaurant in Austin and Lockhart.
The three-day celebration of barbecue includes a welcome dinner, a barbecue class led by Barrett Black of Black’s BBQ followed by lunch at 44 Farms, a barbecue brunch, and more that will leave bellies full and taste buds singing.
The weekend will kick off on Friday, April 20, with a welcome dinner at The Stella’s on-site restaurant, Campfire, featuring creative barbecue dishes, served al fresco on its expansive patio with fire pits and panoramic views of the nearby lake.
On Saturday, April 21, Guests will start the day with coffee and breakfast on-the-go from The Stella’s on-site coffee shop, P.O.V., as they’re shuttled to 44 Farms. At the farm, guests will work alongside Barret Black, a fourth-generation pit master, learning his tips and tricks for preparing brisket. Class will be followed by a lunch at the farm where guests can chow down on Black’s BBQ’s famous brisket and some classic barbecue sides from Campfire. Later that evening, guests will gather at The Back Yard, The Stella’s outdoor lawn, for the “Barbecue, Brews and Bourbon” event. The evening will feature live music and stations with food, local brews and bourbon for all to enjoy.
The weekend wraps up on Sunday, April 22, with a Barbecue Brunch at Campfire. The Stella’s culinary team and Barrett Black will team up to present a variety of breakfast-centric dishes that incorporate barbecue and Bloody Mary’s topped with – you guessed it – brisket.

The Ultimate Barbecue Weekend Package is $150 per person plus tax and gratuity, and overnight accommodations are available for an additional price. Both weekend and overnight packages can be booked here. A limited number of spots are available and must be reserved by Friday, April 6.
