"The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" will run June 5-17 at the Hobby Center for The Performing Arts. The Theatre Under The Stars presents “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas,” June 5-17 at the Hobby Center for The Performing Arts in Houston. Guests will enjoy big songs and big hair during this energetic musical about a real brothel in Texas.
The musical features “Chicken Ranch,” the infamous brothel that’s put into the spotlight by reporter Melvin P. Thorpe. The story is brought to life by a town sheriff, the Texas A&M football team and Miss Mona’s risqué girls. Experience favorites such as “A Lil’ Ole Bitty Pissant Country Place” and “Hard Candy Christmas.”
