The Arts Council is excited to call on artists to participate in our upcoming 5 x 5 fundraising exhibit. Set to be featured at our facility from January 9th to February 9th, we are calling on amateur and professional artists alike to reserve and pick up their canvas now and participate in this great cause. Your artwork would serve as a donation to go toward the Arts Council’s Scholarship Program fund and be key to helping the next generation of artists succeed. Our scholarship program is open to all graduating high school seniors in the Brazos Valley pursuing a degree in the arts.
All amateur and professional artists are welcome and encouraged to create an original 5 x 5 work of art to be featured in this exhibition. All artwork submitted will be made available to the public for a $55 donation at the Art Council’s Annual Boots & BBQ event, with 100% of the donations from the 5 x 5's going towards the Scholarship Support Campaign. Boots & BBQ is an annual Arts Council event that raises money for Arts Council programs and will take place at the Arts Council on January 20th, 2024. All completed 5 x 5 canvases must be delivered to the Arts Council no later than 6:00 pm Friday, January 5th, 2024.
