Do you love Lick Creek Park? Find out the City of College Station’s plans and vision for this hidden jewel in the Brazos Valley. The Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History will host this free program in partnership with the Friends of Lick Creek Park on Wednesday, January 22 at 7pm.
David Schmitz, Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of College Station will provide an update on planning for construction of the Nature Center and discuss the City's vision for the future of the Park. Have questions about park trail reconstruction last summer? Or opinions about how the Park should be managed? This is your chance to hear how the City plans for Park maintenance and construction and to provide your feedback to the person responsible for its oversight.
Monthly Park walks and talks have demonstrated that there is a wealth of knowledge in the community about the natural history of Lick Creek Park. Provide input and support to the City as it moves forward with improvements in the Park in the future.
