A new series of lunchtime webinars will be hosted by the Navasota Grimes County Chamber of Commerce in an effort to bring valuable information to local businesses that may be in the process of reopening. The webinars begin this Friday at noon and will be hosted each Friday through June 12. Topics of the webinars include “How to Responsibly Reopen your Business,” “PPP Requirements for Loan Forgiveness,” “Nonprofits and the Economic Recovery,” “Local Real Estate Trends,” and “Business Finances: Post-COVID Options.”
Chamber Executive Director Johnny McNally says the chamber partnered with BBVA Bank to put on this free series, the timing of which is important to help keep businesses informed of developments and news.
“Our business situation is still very fluid, and we have lined up well-qualified speakers who will provide the latest updates and information on each topic,” says McNally.
Participants in each webinar will have two ways to have questions answered by the presenters during the webinars. They may type questions to submit during their session and have it read, or they may have their line unmuted to voice their question.
The chamber is considering additional topics to potentially expand this series throughout the summer. For more information or to register, contact the Chamber of Commerce by calling (936) 825-6600 or visit navasotagrimeschamber.com.
