Bryan’s new destination marketing organization, Destination Bryan, has added two more staff members tasked with promoting the city of Bryan as a tourism destination. Morgan Key and Chris Riggins, both formerly of Experience Bryan College Station, have joined John Friebele to help further the community’s tourism efforts. Key joins the team as business development manager, while Riggins steps into the role of destination marketing manager. Friebele was announced as executive director of the new organization in an earlier release by the city of Bryan in mid-July.
“We’re excited to get started telling the story of Bryan as a vibrant community that is proud of its heritage, home to diverse cultures, festivals and events, and offers unique experiences to our visitors,” Riggins says of the new opportunity.
Destination Bryan is tasked with promoting the community’s attractions like Historic Downtown Bryan, Lake Walk Town Center, Aggieland Safari, and Messina Hof Winery & Resort, among many others. The organization will also promote various festivals and large-scale events in the community. Destination Bryan’s goal is to stimulate economic impact throughout Bryan by promoting tourism to the city.
“The hospitality industry holds a special place in my heart,” says Key. “What I’m most excited about is the opportunity to partner with local business owners, hoteliers, and the community to develop new packages, concepts, and further opportunities to showcase the heart and hustle they put in each day.”
As the organization hits the ground running in the coming weeks, you can keep up with their efforts and learn more about Destination Bryan at www.destinationbryan.com.
“I can’t wait to connect with our hardworking community and elevate the experiences of visitors to Bryan, whether it be for meetings, sporting events, or a leisure trip,” says Key.
